Shang Palace is an upscale Chinese Restaurant known for its exquisite dining experience and authentic cuisine. It offers diverse menu that highlights Cantonese and other regional specialties. The restaurant emphasizes high quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. As our Signature Restaurant Manager, we rely on you to:

• Lead the Shang Palace Food & Beverage Service operations and work closely with the Executive Chinese Chef to elevate the offering to a Michelin level
• Plan and implement Food & Beverage promotions within the outlet and work closely with the marketing team to execute marketing plans that drive revenue and footfall
• Train, guide and develop the Shang Palace Food & Beverage team through daily briefings, trainings, and coaching
• Maximize profitability of the outlet by driving the average check, implementing meaningful promotions, and introducing new revenue streams to the business
• Create an exceptional and memorable experience for our colleagues and guests
  
  

We are looking for someone who;

• Has a passion for all things Food & Beverage and is aware of trends both locally and internationally
• Enjoys interacting with people
• Communicates and writes with fluency in English (additional languages are a benefit)
• Willing to work a flexible schedule
• Must have managerial experience working in high-end stand-alone restaurants or a 5* luxury hotel environment. (Previous Asian restaurant work experience is a plus)
• Must be a friendly, helpful, and trustworthy leader
• Enjoys planning, organizing and problem solving
• Enjoys being challenged and can think on their feet to find the best possible solution
• Can engage with restaurant guests in a natural, yet professional manner to build-up and strengthen the loyalty
• Has a self-starter and can drive the team to optimize business revenues
• Is a solution-driven and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must have strong financial acumen
