Site Accountant (Contractual)

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading events company in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking for a Site Accountant (Contractual) to manage the financial operations on-site during events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing petty cash management, handling revenue reporting, and ensuring financial accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Oversee and manage petty cash transactions on-site, ensuring all expenses are tracked and accounted for.
• Accurately record and report on revenue generated during events, ensuring all income is documented and reconciled.
• Ensure that financial records are maintained correctly, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Work closely with event coordinators and other on-site staff to address any financial issues or requirements that arise during events.
• Manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment, ensuring deadlines and operational goals are met.
• Prepare and submit financial reports as required by the management team.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting or a similar financial role (preferably in a fast-paced setting).
• A relevant Accounting Certificate or degree.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.
• Confident and professional with a positive attitude.
• Ability to manage financial processes independently and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in the events industry is a plus, but not required.
