We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Admin Assistant to join our team at a construction site in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry. This is a full-time position with a 1-year contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Provide administrative support to the construction site team, including project managers, engineers, and other staff members
- - Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, permits, and drawings
- - Prepare and distribute project-related correspondence, such as meeting agendas and minutes
- - Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and site visits
- - Monitor and track project progress and deadlines
- - Assist with procurement activities, including obtaining quotes and processing purchase orders
- - Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- - Maintain and organize project files and records
- - Prepare and submit expense reports
- - Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers as needed
- - Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the project manager
- - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus
- - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in the construction industry
- - Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- - Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
- - Good communication and interpersonal skills
- - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- - Knowledge of procurement processes is an advantage
- - Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
