Job Description

Job Accountabilities

• Configuration & all Commissioning work / Site Handling
  
  

Act as a link between We One Department, We One and other stakeholders during the implementation of the security system. Define functional specifications for security solution projects in liaison with DP World and ensure clear communication on clarification of technical interfaces with the stakeholder, Consultants and/or contractor for future discrepancies. Liaison with project personnel responsible for implementation of the project tasks, liaison with We One Office for proposals on a regular basis.

• Site Survey / Planning
  
  

Conduct site survey, prepare assessment reports and identify suitable security solutions based on requirements and site conditions.

Follow up, spot checks on-going activities for quality control; coordinate the definition of an appropriate monitoring system for the project with the appropriate plans of follow-up indicators, Update indicators, achievements, activities and results according to the project Log.

Co-ordinate with Security for the risk assessment and Security Plan when necessary to understand and analyze the security requirements of the DP World, reporting to WS Engineering office and dotted line reporting to DP We One Department, plan workshops along with DP World and relevant stakeholder to identify security scope of works to be delivered for projects, identify needs for further or specific training, equipment, support, and elaborate terms of orientation.

Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with the DP World. Communication with LINE Manager, Peers, or Subordinates, Providing information to supervisors and co-workers in the written form. uninterrupted communication with We One office, Coordination of technical meetings and agenda

Ensure that We One interest is protected with all DPW projects at all the time.

• Project Monitoring and Reporting
  
  

Oversee the project to verify quality & compliance to standards, Daily, Weekly and Monthly reporting to WS Engineering office and dotted line reporting to DP We One Department on the movement of all on-going DP We One System projects and new proposals.

• Special Projects
  
  

As and when assigned by the LINE Manager and Internal Meeting.

Job Requirements

Academic

Bachelors Degree in Electronics’ and Communication / Electrical / IT Engineering

Professional

PMP Certification Preferred

Formal Training

Years of industry experience and on-the-job training

Practical Experience / Skills

5 plus years of related industry experience preferably with the Security Engineering field minimum three-year exp. In configuration and all commissioning works for integrated security system projects. Should have robust industry knowledge and up-to-date with emerging technology trends in CCTV, Access Control and Integrated Security Solutions. Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills with good organization and reporting skills, must be customer focused, creative and team player.
