Site Engineer

Job Description:

The Site Engineer is responsible for executing site activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. The role involves supervising work progress, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and maintaining accurate site records to support smooth and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute works on site as per approved drawings, specifications, construction program, and method statements.


• Report technical issues promptly to the Section Engineer for resolution.


• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities to ensure timely progress and resolve delays.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures; identify and report risks immediately.


• Maintain a detailed site diary recording daily activities, manpower, equipment, and any site constraints.


• Plan and manage inspection requirements; ensure work is complete and compliant before inspection.


• Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment to foremen and supervise their performance to meet targets.


• Follow daily and weekly work programs and execute instructions from PCM/SE after ensuring clarity.


• Ensure the latest drawings, method statements, and ITPs are used on site by the team.


• Coordinate equipment requirements with the Plant Representative through the Section Engineer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.


• Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil construction projects.


• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and design interpretation.


• Proficiency in spoken and written English.


• Good computer skills (AutoCAD, MS Office, etc.).


• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
