Site Manager

Brunel Energy is looking for Site Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The job holder is responsible, supporting Client in the supervision of an EPCM Contractor at Site. He will be responsible for overall Site Management and Supervision at Site. He will coordinate with the Client, Contractors and back office for the works under his responsibilities. Site manager shall coordinate and supervise the all the site activities with the support of Consultant site engineers and deeply involved with EPCM Site manager to expedite the works to complete project and Consultant site manager shall report to the Project Manager.

Your Tasks

• Shall prepare commissioning procedure guidelines for Employer ‘s reviews and approvals;
• Shall expedite issue of submission of all Contractors’ commissioning documents; approve them and coordination of all interface works;
• Conduct regular construction meetings with Construction companies;
• Verify and control the project schedule on Construction and commissioning;
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings;
• Establish site regulations and rules of site operation;
• Strategically manage the site schedule, progress of works and cost;
• Developing a Site Safety Culture during the site execution of the project;
• The overall management and leadership of the site staff;
• Shall be the vocal point for communication between Client, Contractor and Internal Consultant team;
• Shall co-ordinate all the activities to ensure successful completion of the Project fully in conformity with the agreed Contract Specifications and the Project Programme.
  
  

Your Profile

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Masters degree in power sector is added advantage Degree Attestation from MOFA is required;
• PMP certification is an advantage;
• 15+ years of relevant professional experience and 10 years experience as Site Manager;
• Previous experience in Contracts associated with EPCM projects in power plant;
• Consultancy experience as Site Manager for 350 MW and above is a must;
• GCC/UAE experience mandatory;
• 10 years Managerial experience;
• Proven experience in the management of large multicultural environments.
