Overview

Site Superintendent (Civil, Irrigation, Architect, Agriculture & MEP)

Liaise and work alongside architects, engineers, construction managers, supervisors, planners, surveyors, and subcontractors. Share responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of material and human resources to ensure proper execution of site activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Advice: Offer guidance to subcontractors, craftsmen, and operatives to control site installations. Control of site installations, reduction of errors and abortive works.
• Site Setting Out & Surveying: Carry out proper setting out, leveling, and surveying of the site to check plans, drawings, and quantities for dimensions and data accuracy.
• Ensure Materials & Work Quality: Ensure all materials used and work performed are as per project specifications.
• Material & Equipment Management: Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery to site.
• Contract Design Interpretation: Manage, monitor, and interpret contract design documents supplied by the client/architect to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Coordination & Liaison: Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the workforce. Attend regular meetings to keep everyone informed of project progress.
• Supervision & Monitoring: Supervise and monitor the site labor force and subcontractors to ensure proper management of site activities.
• Site Facilities Organization: Organize the plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
• Quality Control: Oversee quality control to ensure all activities are completed as per specifications.
• Reporting & Problem-Solving: Prepare reports as required and resolve any unexpected technical difficulties or problems to ensure timely report submission.
  
  

Experience & Qualifications

• Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent experience
• 5 to 7 years of experience in MEP projects related to landscaping
