Personal Care Business Group is one strategic group for Unilever that drives both volume and value. It comprises 3 categories Skin Cleansing, Oral Care and Deodorants. It has some of the most powerful and purposeful brands such as Lux, Dove, Lifebuoy, Axe, Rexona etc. Specifically, Skin Cleansing is the complex of volume and value driven category and biggest in category in Arabia. It comprises of a portfolio of over 800 regular & promo SKUs among 3 Brands, 12 CPGs and 162 Forecasting Units over 6 countries in Arabia.
Job Purpose

It also derives creation of a central unbiased, accurate forecast and aligned with business units using the new introduced tools and system.

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
- Demand Planning & S&OP
- iOps and Planning technology
- Category strategy
Demand Planning
- Lead the entire Monthly S&OP cycle for Skin Cleansing Category. Monthly SnOP cycle responsibilities include task such as long term and short term forecasting, aligning business target and growth ambition, multiple forecasting drivers analysis, and composing total demand forecast.
- Lead the entire Weekly S&OE cycle for Skin Cleansing Care Category. S&OE cycle responsibilities include task such as analysis of customer order data and highlighting gaps and opportunities and timely feedback for recovery.
- Setting up and adjusting the forecast baseline through FEU. Execute the S&OP and S&OE through Kinaxis. Analysis of various KPIs and monitoring actuals and forecast through Kinaxis data analysis module.
- Monitoring of shipment planning system weekly and defining optimum stocks Norms through IPM with joint activity bi-annually.
- Analyse various category specific KPIs monthly basis, correcting upon gaps in the upcoming cycle. Data reporting of KPIs at SCLT/global monthly forums.
- Simplify the portfolio with the optimum no. of SKUs, leading to higher volume-value growth by conducting quarterly SKU Rationalization activity.
- Monitor Distributors’ OS&R against target and identify improvement opportunities.
- Distributors’ SLOB management: Highlight slow moving and non-moving stocks to the business to take appropriate actions for disposal.
- Own SC related inputs to the monthly S&OP board member meeting and financials– mainly: financial shipments.
Experiences & Qualifications
- 3+ yrs. experience in Supply Chain, FMCG experience preferable.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain.
- Advanced planning skills and hands on – Kinaxis, FEU.
- Forecasting methods understanding, preferably knowledge about Machine Learning based forecasting.
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills.
