We’re looking for an experienced Credit Manager to join our finance division, playing a pivotal role in managing credit evaluation and risk for SME clients in the UAE. This is your chance to bring your expertise to a key position that drives responsible lending and business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Review and assess credit applications from SME clients, ensuring thorough creditworthiness analysis.
Utilize cash flow-based underwriting methods for embedded finance solutions.
Leverage your experience in digital lending and decision automation, including drafting digital native credit policies.
Conduct ratio analysis to evaluate financial statements and assess borrower financial health.
Contribute to developing and enhancing credit policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Prepare reports on credit performance, risk exposure, and portfolio quality.
Collaborate closely with sales and relationship teams to tailor credit solutions that meet client needs.
Mentor junior credit analysts on best practices in credit evaluation.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate or SME lending within the UAE region, preferably at regional banks or finance companies.
Strong expertise in credit risk assessment and management.
In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Exceptional analytical skills, particularly in ratio analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively and lead credit policy initiatives.
