About the Role:

A leading global fintech is seeking an experienced SOC Manager to design, build, and lead a cutting-edge 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) from the ground up. This critical role is ideal for an assertive, detail-oriented leader with a proven track record in cybersecurity and SOC operations. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across the organization to establish best practices, manage incident response, and ensure robust protection for our digital assets and client data.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a 24/7 SOC to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats in real time.
• Lead the development of SOC policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure SOC effectiveness.
• Oversee incident management, from detection through remediation, with an emphasis on swift response and mitigation.
• Coordinate with other departments to align security operations with business goals.
• Recruit, train, and mentor SOC staff to develop a high-performing, skilled team.
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a SOC management role, with demonstrated experience building a 24/7 SOC from scratch.
• Strong expertise in threat detection, response, and prevention within a SOC environment.
• Deep knowledge of security tools, including SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred.
