JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide 24/7 support and maintenance for Big Data applications/systems.
- L1/L2 support for Data Monetization projects.
- Ensure high availability of applications/systems by collaborating with other operations teams.
- Proactively ensure stable, dependable applications/systems across multiple platforms.
- Work with development teams to ensure the operational readiness and supportability of running activities/projects.
- Maintain and utilize various monitoring/alarming tools to identify faults and ensure their timely resolution to avert any stability issues.
- On time monitoring to all Big Data and Data Monetization Primary batch/Daily/Weekly/Monthly Jobs/Dashboards for on time business data availability.
- Effective collaboration/alignments with all stakeholders to successfully manage related operations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Communicate and interact regularly and comfortably across various Engineering & IT systems and Marketing and Finance departments, fostering strong relationships and streamline processes.
- Analyze data processing modules and identify areas of enhancements and improvements where required.
- Assists in ensuring that external/internal regulations and policies governing data management are met, including regulations concerning security, audit and privacy.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with Big Data and AI applications.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience supporting and Cloudera manager (CDP) and Big Data ecosystems.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in yarn and oozie for managing the workflows.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Spark by Scala
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in managing Impala tables and performance analysis.
- Machine Learning and AI with python is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of systems analysis and information technology principles.
- Ability to work with a wide variety of problems and personalities
- Ability to exercise substantial judgment and work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work in a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends and 24/7
