Description

To ensure all treatments are carried out to the highest standards and targets are met. To maintain the five star level of cleanliness, excellent client care and grooming. He/she is responsible for revenue generation through retail, up selling and cross sales to other business centers in the spa.

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for equipment, products, cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment areas.
• Ensure aftercare recommendations are made at the end of every treatment, linking with client concerns and offering to prepare products at reception for purchase.
• Encourage clients to return to the spa by recommending an ongoing treatment programmes. Maintain a sound knowledge of all treatments, packages and any promotions on offer at any given time.
• Promote and sell the services of the Spa and maximize the potential of all sales.
• Achieve sales targets as set by the hotel.
• Assist with promotions/ demonstrations/ events as required.
• Maintain the stock at the correct level following set standards.
• Keep up the high standard of treatment and service.
• Be punctual and prepared in advance of treatments.
• Ensure that daily sales figures are accurately recorded.
• Ensure that all operational procedures are carried out in the prescribed manner.
• Be adaptable and accountable for all actions.
• Cover reception as and when required.
• Report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
• Pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
• Assist in other areas
• of the hotel as and when required, carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene as per the hotel’s grooming standards at all times.
• Maintain a good rapport and working relationship with colleagues in the department and all other departments.

Job Requirements

• Internationally recognized massage certificate
• 2 years spa therapy experience
• Good communication skills
• Should be result & quality driven.
• Ability to handle high volume with attention to detail
• Ability to cope with changing priorities and multiple tasks at the same time
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors
