Under general supervision, Diagnoses, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole operations. Coordinates the activities involved in maintenance, repair, and calibration of LWD down-hole tool electronics and surface equipment. Promote services excellence and customer satisfaction. Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced repair and maintenance personnel and trains and assists tool technicians. Areas of specialization may include: electrical aptitude, computer skills, and performing major repairs. Assists in making evaluations and recommendations for improvements on equipment based on maintenance history. Requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of two years relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment. Associates degree is preferred.
