Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Oversee implementation of Asset Integrity and Process Safety (AI & PS) policies & procedures to assure integrity of projects throughout the Lifecycle. Provide professional expertise in safeguarding the projects integrity by supporting the monitoring and auditing of various integrity activities being implemented during the projects.

Key Accountabilities

Asset Integrity & Process Safety

• Participate in the Asset Integrity and process safety reviews and ensure compliance of integrity management processes and procedures.
• To act as focal point for Technical integrity function for project and to ensure that technical integrity verification is carried out as per requirement and to track/report closure of findings
• Focal point for the Asset Integrity & Process Safety standard within Projects including Integrity Management internal assessments and Verification & Measurement. Assure timely execution and follow-up of remedial studies.
• Assist the OE Division in determining the company AI&PS strategy and ensure cascade and implementation of relevant policies and procedures across Projects. All parties consent to this document being signed electronically -PRD/INT/2023/3930
• Participate in developing alternative ideas to improve the existing AI&PS procedures and services and provide inputs and suggestions for the continuous improvement of current practices taking into account ‘best good practice' and international standards.
• Participate in the establishment of AI&PS performance indicators that will serve in achieving shareholders KPIs. Monitor/report integrity assurance KPI’s, on critical activities throughout Project Lifecycle.
• Prepare periodical progress reports on the AI&PS Project KPI’s to keep top management informed about the progress of all initiatives and to facilitate decision making.
• Monitor the top AI&PS items and follow up the actions to reduce the concerns and timely closures of the required action items.
• Monit\or and follow up deviations and non-conformities identified and follow up to either justify or correct them, and subsequently closed out.
• Develop AIPS audit and assurance program with clear plan of activities including ascertaining level of compliance with different AIPS requirements across the projects as applicable.
• Address AIPS audit action items and monitor status of addressing audit findings and recommendations for project phase as applicable.
• Issue periodic reports to management, update on status of AIPS audit programs and action plans.
• Report on AIPS performance against agreed KPIs and ensure agreed KPIs are cascaded to all related areas during project phase as applicable.
• Participate in AIPS community of practice and related activities.
  
  

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• 9 years of experience in integrity management in the oil/gas production industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of project management principles processes and systems based on a life cycle approach.
• Good understanding of Business Process development and implementation with reference to those processes aimed to assure the achievement of project integrity.
• Good understanding of KPIs to measure technical performance.
• Knowledge of HSE procedures & practices
• Planning and Organising, Scheduling and Co-ordinating, Checking, Examining and Recording
