Established in 1966 with the objective of strengthening the financial sustainability of the Emirate, DoF is responsible for the development and execution of the Abu Dhabi government’s annual budget and for overseeing government returns, expenditures,

Objectives: Contributes to implementation of budget policies into the annual budget cycle and in the medium-term strategy of the unit. Review and ensure that the implemented processes are updated in the systems in accordance with the approved policy.

Essential Duties

• Participate in update and follow up reforms in the implementation of the performance-based budgeting framework.
• Participate in the implementation of changes in the budget cycle to improve the data collection from entities.
• Follow up process update implementation in accordance to approved policy.
• Coordinate in organizing training sessions with internal/external stakeholders.
• Participate in analyzing potential reforms in the budget process.
• Prepare Ppt presentations and coordinate meetings with other internal stakeholders.
• Provide the necessary support to the line manager and perform any other related tasks assigned

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of Economics or Finance or equivalent in a similar specialty appropriate to the job duties.
• Preferable to have 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar field/position.
