- Assist in Preparing accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyse financial data to identify and explain variances in performance against budget and previous periods.
- Create performance reports and present findings to management for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards.
- Collaborate with auditors to provide required financial data and support during audits.
- Contribute to financial forecasting by providing historical data and insights.
- Assist in the development, monitoring, and management of departmental budgets through reports.
- Analyse costs and cost structures to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Manage the process of preparing and filing external financial reports, such as quarterly and annual reports with regulatory authorities, e.g., SEC filings.
- Assist in Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on the organization's financial health.
- Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial records and reports.
- Stay up to date with financial regulations and compliance requirements, adapting financial reporting accordingly.
- Assist other Departments in providing reports.
- Executing any other tasks assigned by line manager.
