We are seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Gastroenterologist to join a leading hospital in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will provide expert care in diagnosing and managing digestive system disorders, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and culturally sensitive communication.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Gastroenterologist to join a leading hospital in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will provide expert care in diagnosing and managing digestive system disorders, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and culturally sensitive communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and peptic ulcers
- Perform endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy
- Interpret diagnostic tests including imaging, lab results, and biopsies
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, including emergency GI assessments
- Collaborate with dietitians, surgeons, and radiologists for integrated care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with MOH regulations
- Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, and departmental quality improvement initiatives
- Deliver patient education and support for lifestyle and dietary management
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Specialist certification in Gastroenterology (e.g., Arab Board, MRCP, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience in a hospital or specialty clinic
- UAE MOH license or eligibility required
- Fluent in Arabic and/or English preferred
- Strong procedural and diagnostic skills
