Job Purpose
The Sr./Specialist Internal Communications Region MEAE:
Builds strong network of relationships within the MEAE region (via business partners and direct) to create constant stream of information.
Executes in the region the internal communications strategy, guidelines and policies.
Develops continuous stream of messaging through all internal communication channels.
Manages internal communication budget (incl. SAP), planning and resources in the region.
Tracks progress and measures effectiveness of internal communication across the region and advises accordingly.
Executes governance framework for internal communications in regional context.
Builds, maintains and is actively involved with the internal communications network across the region.
Identifies internal communication talents and brings them into global/regional communications network.
Aligns with Sr./Programme Manager Internal Communications on internal communications strategy, priorities and content.
Develops and introduces new internal communications tools to increase level of engagement with employees.
Aligns with copywriting function and department members correct use of the English (UK English) language and contributes to a dedicated Borouge word bank.
Foster relationship with professional communication suppliers, especially with internal communication suppliers in the MEAE region.
Tracks and keeps regional MEAE content on intranet (Bornet) up to date.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor degree in the field of communications, English language, business management or social sciences or equivalent, based on previous job-experience.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
At least five years of experience in communications, marketing or other relevant areas.
Superb writing skills in English and Arabic.
Excellent knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Active on relevant social media channels.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills,
Solid understanding of project management principles.
Professional Certifications
Bachelor degree or higher
CPD qualification from international recognized communications body with focus on internal communications (PRCA, MEPRA, IABC, CIPR, IoIC, etc.)

The Sr./Specialist Internal Communications Region MEAE:
- Enables shared understanding and relevance of the Borouge 2030 strategy, vision, mission, brand and values as well as the dedicated business goals across all internal stakeholders in the regional MEAE context.
- Executes Borouge’s internal communication strategy in the relevant regional MEAE context on a daily basis.
- Builds employee engagement, trust and internal identification with the Borouge brand, values and reputation in the MEAE region.
- Reviews and updates corporate writing standards regularly against industrial benchmarks.
- Contributes on an ongoing basis to develop Borouge internal communication initiatives and strategy and addresses from a regional MEAE point of view.
