Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Oncologist to join a leading medical facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with various forms of cancer, providing expert medical care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive oncology services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and stage cancer patients through physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other specialized interventions.
  • Monitor and manage the progress of cancer patients during and after treatment, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide compassionate and supportive care to cancer patients and their families, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists, to coordinate comprehensive cancer care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and review complex cases, contributing valuable insights and expertise.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in oncology research, treatment protocols, and healthcare technologies, applying evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows, sharing knowledge and experience in the field of oncology.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from a recognized medical school and completion of a residency program in internal medicine and oncology.
  • Eligibility in oncology.
  • Proven experience as a specialist oncologist, demonstrating clinical excellence and outstanding patient care.
  • Strong knowledge of cancer biology, pathology, and treatment modalities, with a focus on evidence-based medicine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathetically engage with patients and their families.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning, with a passion for advancing the field of oncology.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
