The opportunity
The Specialist – Resource Management is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of contingent workers, ensuring smooth onboarding, active lifecycle tracking, contract renewals, and compliant offboarding. This role serves as the operational backbone of the contingent workforce program, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage high volumes of contract talent across multiple business functions.

The opportunity
The Specialist – Resource Management is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of contingent workers, ensuring smooth onboarding, active lifecycle tracking, contract renewals, and compliant offboarding. This role serves as the operational backbone of the contingent workforce program, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage high volumes of contract talent across multiple business functions.
Your Key Responsibilities
Onboarding Coordination
- Initiate and manage the contingent worker onboarding process, ensuring timely provisioning of access, equipment, and documentation.
- Coordinate with IT, vendors, HR, and hiring managers to guarantee a seamless day-one experience.
- Monitor compliance with background checks, NDAs, and training requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of contingent workers in the VMS and internal tracking tools.
- Monitor tenure limits, start/end dates, and compliance with internal workforce policies.
- Support redeployment strategies and workforce planning conversations.
- Track upcoming contract end dates and initiate timely renewal or offboarding processes.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and procurement to manage rate changes, contract extensions, and headcount updates.
- Ensure secure and compliant offboarding of contingent workers including access deactivation and equipment recovery.
- Partner with vendors to collect exit feedback and document attrition data.
- Maintain up-to-date data on contingent workforce headcount, locations, roles, costs, and tenure.
- Generate regular reports for workforce visibility, audit readiness, and compliance tracking.
- Act as the primary operational contact for external staffing vendors and internal hiring teams.
- Resolve time entry, billing, and worker experience issues in coordination with finance and HR.
- Support audits and data validation exercises.
- Required skills / qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in contingent workforce operations, HR coordination, staffing, or workforce administration.
- Proficiency in Vendor Management Systems (e.g., SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Workday, etc.).
- Strong organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with workforce compliance (worker classification, tenure tracking, onboarding security protocols).
- Ability to handle high volumes in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Preferred skills / qualifications
- Experience in managing technical or high-volume contract workforce in enterprise environments.
- Exposure to managed service providers (MSPs) or internal CW programs.
- Advanced Excel or reporting tool proficiency (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
