About The Opportunity

Are you ready to take your financial expertise to the next level? At M42, we’re looking for a Specialist, Statutory Reporting to join our dynamic Finance team and play a key role in shaping our financial governance and reporting framework.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements (quarterly and annual).
  • Collaborate with auditors to address issues and ensure smooth, timely audits.
  • Develop and implement accounting position papers, financial policies, and procedures.
  • Assess and strengthen internal controls using the COSO framework.
  • Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) requirements.
  • Supervise purchase price allocation and goodwill impairment exercises.
  • Prepare presentations for audit committees and senior leadership teams.
  • Drive financial system enhancements to meet organizational needs.
  • Manage and provide training for team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in statutory audit or group reporting (Big 4 experience a plus).
  • Proficiency in Oracle, Hyperion, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
