Job Details
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Evaluating individuals to identify communication and swallowing disorders, such as speech impediments, language delays, or swallowing difficulties.
- Treatment Planning: Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills.
- Therapy Sessions: Providing individual or group therapy sessions to help individuals achieve communication and swallowing goals.
- Collaboration with Families and Teams: Working with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of therapy strategies and achieve goals.
- Progress Monitoring: Tracking progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and communicating with families and teams.
- Pediatric: Working with children to address communication and swallowing disorders, such as autism, apraxia, or language delays.
- Adult: Working with adults to address communication and swallowing disorders, such as aphasia, dysarthria, or dysphagia.
- Neurogenic: Working with individuals with neurological conditions, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, or Parkinson's disease
