Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layout plans.
  • Update drawings based on site conditions, engineer comments, and client revisions.
  • Coordinate with Architects, Engineers, and Site teams for technical clarifications.
  • Ensure drawings follow project standards, codes, and specifications.
  • Maintain drawing logs and manage document control for all drawings.
  • Review drawings for accuracy before submission.
  • Support project teams with measurements, drafting modifications, or technical inputs.

Skills

Candidate Criteria

  • Diploma in Civil/Architectural/Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship.
  • 5–10+ years experience as a Draughtsman in a construction/contracting company.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory).
  • Experience in Revit/BIM is an advantage.
  • Able to understand technical drawings, details, and site requirements.
  • Good coordination skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
