As the Sr. Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of luxury retail fitout projects while ensuring compliance with client requirements and budget constraints. Your responsibilities will include leading the estimation process from inception to completion, preparing detailed BOQs and accurate cost estimates for retail fitout and joinery projects, analyzing project drawings and specifications, conducting market research to stay updated on material costs, and collaborating closely with various teams and clients to gather necessary information. Additionally, you will be involved in risk management, tendering, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in the estimation process.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the retail fitout industry with a proven track record of delivering projects in shopping malls and airports in the region. You should possess strong technical knowledge, proven estimation capabilities, exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders. A solid understanding of market trends and pricing, coupled with the ability to foster strong relationships with subcontractors, will be essential for success in this role.
