Job Description

Accountable for the overall strategic and operational performance of insurance revenue streams. This include current portfolio (Apple Care, Samsung Care, Takaful and Home protection) & new Easy Insurance Portfolio (Health, Motor, travel, device and any additional type) and go-to-market approach that meets the needs of customers, and fully aligned with best practices for each of these areas. Additional, includes the development and management of new operating models, which would cater for these incremental revenue stream areas and would extend to developing any new insurance business model based on the size and the requirement of the business opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Identifying key insurance company stakeholders and business processes owners
• Assessing existing IT support, known workarounds, Analyzing existing business processes and workflows
• Designing with software engineers and documenting business processes and workflows, preparing business cases on an ad-hoc basis capturing potential areas of operational improvement and formalizing the latter Transition and migration to the new platform by:
• Understanding insurance companies and their clients’ expectations and formalize the latter
• Contributing to set priorities and consequently to reach an agreement upon projects development milestones and timeframes
• Participating to a clear communication among stakeholders and insurance companies’ business process owners, communicating their needs and requirements to software engineers
• Documenting and making transparent projects progress -Facilitating workshops, demos and meetings for the project steering committees
• Reporting and documenting issues -Defining testing scenarios, when required, based on the client gathered business requirements
• Performing Quality Assurance
• Responsible for sales and delivery of insurance proposition and build the team to ensure the department positions itself as one of the major players in the UAE & Region. Develop short term/long term business plan
• Lead sales and ensure growth of the insurance platform in terms of revenue terms.
• Manage and lead assignments including day-to-day follow up on project teams and ensuring targets are met.
• Build and enhance insurance team capabilities by always being up to date with trends in the market and understanding the impact on our clients.
• Develop propositions and impart this knowledge to PD, team, design studio while aligning with top Management and CXOs.
• Work with colleagues in all departments on client work and internal initiatives as well as with international teams where appropriate.
• Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with the engagement team members.
• Whilst working in and leading the Insurance team, you will develop your understanding of the key themes in the market and in the region.
• Lead the creation and go to market of new incremental consumer business revenue streams that includes and not limited to Insurance as a Service, Digital insurance and new insurance portfolio.
• Guide the product development and explore additional revenue opportunities while driving the business.
• Drive end-to-end commercial propositions of guiding new product portfolio, strengthening partner network and increase customer penetration and adoption.
• Monitor and analyze performance trends from financial, competitive and operational perspectives.
• Oversees entire operations in close cooperation with respective key executives and monitors and reviews key performance indicators
• Bears overall responsibility for managing and monitoring the overall activities & ongoing improvement of Digital insurance Services
• To analyze satisfaction and value creation throughout the customer journey and recommend improvements to increase satisfaction and profitability.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
• 6+ years’ experience in product marketing or related field
