JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage and operate Ericsson vEDA platform on OpenShift container environment
- Execute and monitor subscriber provisioning and service activation workflows
- Perform platform health monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Handle container lifecycle management and resource optimization
- Implement and maintain automation for operational tasks
- Support integration with external systems and APIs
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation
- Participate in incident management and problem resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for service improvements
- Support capacity planning and platform scaling initiatives
- Manage backup and recovery operations
- Monitor and optimize platform performance
- Handle security compliance and updates
- Support CI/CD pipeline operations
- Experience with Ericsson vEDA or similar telecom platforms
- Proficiency in container technologies and microservices
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Scripting abilities (shell script , Python)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools
- Knowledge of APIs like SOAP , REST etc
- Knowledge of integration of vEDA with several 3PP vendors such as Huawei, Alepo, Nokia, Casandra etc.
- Telecommunications service activation processes
- Subscriber provisioning workflows
- BSS/OSS systems understanding
- Network protocols and architectures
- Cloud-native concepts and practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with Minimum 8 year experience of Telecom OSS/BSS and 3 years experience with cloud-native platforms
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Relevant certifications (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Cloud)
- Experience in 24x7 operation environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Team collaboration capabilities
- Ability to work in shifts if required
