Key Accountabilities:

  • Ownership of Controllership & FP&A processes of Remaya. Single point of contact for Balance Sheet Review, Audit & closing supervision with EBS and on-time reporting of FP&A reports to EDGE HQ.
  • Balance Sheet, Audit & Closing supervision  ensure accurate and timely reporting of TB & P&L by supervising EBS and correctly allocating expenses into cost center, project and account. Resolve Audit roadblocks efficiently in order to drive closure on time. Enforce EDGE Accounting Policy & IFRS application into the Remaya processes and proactively raise & suggest solution to solve issues or potential risks to mis-reporting. Financial control of the project CAPEX and OPEX in partnership with PMO team in order to properly update actual & forecast.
  • FP&A Operations & Reporting  ownership of FP&A reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions, tied to the Financial Ledger and reviewed ahead of time with Remaya CFO (potentially also with Remaya CEO and Cluster CFO when necessary)
  • Streamline & automate finance processes  Apply critical thinking in order to help propose actions to simplify the finance processes in FP&A and Controllership

Experience & Education:

  • Advanced Excel (Advanced Powerpoint desirable)
  • Fluent English. Able to lead meetings in English and write reports/ presentations
  • Relevant industry certifications of the government accounting policies and procedures and Knowledge of accounting standards.
  • 7+ Years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.
  • Experience working in conglomerate/ multinationals.
  • Experience working cross-functionally (Finance with Operations and other functions)

  • Resilience & team player attitude – ability to handle pressure efficiently while maintaining work quality. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within and outside Finance function (especially with Operational and Commercial leadership)
  • Prioritization & Sense of urgency – ability to proactively prioritize the most important deliverables & meet their deadlines. Be able to escalate issues when necessary, proposing solutions and asking the clarifying questions in order to ensure proper understanding.
  • Attention to detail. Check & double check financial numbers as output of his/ her work prior to submissions & communication, being able to tie to the appropriate ledgers/ operational estimates/ contract agreements/ invoices. Be the gatekeeper of financial information and its entries in the ledger. Ensure use of “source of truth” numbers. Be a quick learner.
  • Proficient with SAP, Oracle & HFM/ Hyperion. Able to pull reports and post entries
  • Proficient with Project Accounting (POC/ ECA/ Deferred Charges/ Contract Assets)
  • Experience with USGAAP/ IFRS policies, procedures and reporting.
