Role Overview

The Business Analyst is an all-round role that serves multiple departments within the Institutional Desk. The role will involve assisting in organising marketing activities, updating and tracking KPIs and Performance through BI systems (Tableau), updating Financial Performance as well assisting in day-to-day operations. The successful will become to the first point of contact for requests from departments.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Work with the Marketing Team to ensure timely and a high quality of Marketing outputs
  • Manage updates on the STARprime Website and Product Information (Instrument List, Market Updates)
  • Responsible for client communications via email
  • Ownership of the STARprime LinkedIn pages and other content sources

Data & Finance

  • Utilise Data Tools (Tableau) to ensure daily updates are accurate & provide ad hoc reports as required
  • Combine Financial Reports from multiple sources into one central source
  • Assist in producing Revenue and Data Reports for internal and external use

Adhoc

  • Assist with Adhoc tasks that are required to assist other departments and ensure optimum performance of the STARprime business

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Overall Marketing Experience (Website, LinkedIn, Campaigns)
  • Experience in using Data BI Systems (Tableau), Proficient in Excel
  • Understanding of Financial Accounting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of financial markets, FX, and CFDs (preferred)
  • Pragmatic and Professional
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and meet tight deadlines

Required Experience

  • 1–2 years’ experience in marketing, Data or Finance
  • Exposure to financial services or B2B environments is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, finance, data or related field
