Role Overview

We are seeking a technically skilled and hands-on Stage Technician/Coordinator with 1 to 3 years of experience to support stage operations for our Holographic Video capture system. This role involves working closely with the Stage Manager and the development and production teams to drive innovation, ensure smooth operations, and contribute to the success of cutting-edge projects. Responsibilities

• Stage Operations:
• Collaborate with the Stage Manager on the day-to-day operations of the Holographic Video capture stage.
• Support the innovation, operation, and maintenance of the production stage, ensuring it is fully functional and optimized for each project.
• Technical Coordination:
• Work closely with the client team, clients, and partner stages to coordinate efforts, share best practices, and ensure seamless collaboration.
• Assist in facility and system support, including hardware maintenance, facility upkeep, and managing supply inventory and procurement.
• Daily Shoot Responsibilities:
• Prepare the stage for daily shoots, including completing calibrations and running necessary tests.
• Operate and maintain the stage equipment, record takes, check audio, run the shot list, and troubleshoot any hardware, software, or technical issues that arise.
• Collaboration and Culture:
• Foster a collaborative culture that values technology in service of the human experience, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  

Qualifications

• Experience:
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in roles related to studio operations, production, or photogrammetry, with an emphasis on technical skills and client interaction.
• Demonstrated success in a game, film, or video production environment, with the ability to balance the needs of multiple short-term clients against long-term technology goals.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with PC IT support, including hardware, networking, debugging, and A/V systems, standards, formats, and cabling.
• Agile, flexible, and comfortable working in a startup-like environment where goals and deliverables can shift rapidly.
• Passion and Innovation:
• A passion for maximizing the potential of cutting-edge technology and delivering real-world solutions that enhance creative projects.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Skills:
• Practical understanding of computer vision and/or geometric algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art camera and capture gear.
• Experience with on-set production and/or mobile video configurations.
• Knowledge of Python/PySide or other scripting languages and development.

• Setup and Launch Prep:
• Play an active role in the setup and launch preparation of production stages.
• Training:
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and ensure smooth operations.
• Production/Shoots:
• Be present and actively involved during production and shoots, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
