Job Purpose
Manage Stores and Inventory Control of aircraft parts, tools, and equipment to ensure timely availability of components for Air Arabia and 3rd party aircraft This is done in compliance with applicable regulations, Air Arabia policies, and quality standards, while maintaining cost-effective practices and efficient logistics within & outside Morocco.
Key Result Responsibilities- Manages daily store operations ensuring proper handling, storage, and documentation of all parts, tools, and equipment. Focuses on safety, efficiency, and cost control in all technical and human factors.
- Ensures all store activities adhere to applicable regulations and Air Arabia's internal policies, including material shelf life, tools calibration, and environmental controls (temperature and humidity).
- Monitors stock levels, particularly for frequently used items like wheels, batteries, and fluids, maintaining agreed minimum and maximum levels. Facilitates timely order placement to avoid stock shortages.
- Montor & Coordinates the end-to-end supply chain, including cargo logistics, and coordination with internal & external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery. Manages customs clearance processes for incoming parts and equipment.
- Implements and manages inspection protocols for incoming components, ensuring they meet quality standards before acceptance into inventory. Tracks unserviceable components for repair or return.
- Coordinates with logistics providers to manage customs clearance efficiently, ensuring parts are received and processed without delays. Handles both internal and external logistics, managing costs and efficiency.
- Allocates tasks and manages the performance of the stores team to meet operational goals. Ensures 24/7 coverage for stores operations, including maintenance and emergency (AOG) support.
- Supports audits by regulatory authorities and internal teams, ensuring any corrective actions are implemented promptly and in compliance with regulations.
- Works with Engineering, Maintenance, and Procurement teams to ensure update timely stock reporting of parts and adherence to safety and operational requirements.
- Provides direction, coaching and guidance to team members for their career and professional development.
- Creates a conducive working environment to build and sustain a performance driven, engaged, and committed team.
- Ensures people management responsibilities are handled effectively in line with company procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in inventory management systems, compliance with regulatory standards, and logistics operations.
- Proven skills in analyzing data, identifying pitfalls and recommending cost-effective solutions.
- Cost-oriented, possesses effective negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
- 5+ years’ overall experience in any industry, 3 years of which in a similar capacity in Airlines industry with 2 years at least supervising the Stores and Inventory Section.
- Experienced in executing and managing SLAs with successful delivery and results.
- Strong managerial, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to both results and details.
