Job Summary:

We are hiring a Store Keeper to manage and maintain stock records, ensure systematic storage of materials, and coordinate stock movements using ERP. The ideal candidate must have experience in storekeeping within the sheet metal and manufacturing industry and be proficient in inventory management systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Verify and report monthly stock status (all materials) through ERP.
• Maintain daily reports of sheet stock and usage and update relevant personnel.
• Issue items as per MBOM, ensuring additional items are issued only upon written approval.
• Manage the issuance of chemicals and powder for the Gasketing Machine and Powder Coating Plant.
• Update monthly gas and chemical usage in ERP based on reports from the PC department.
• Display and maintain MSDS sheets for all chemicals in the store.
• Maintain accurate records of received and issued items, ensuring proper material movement tracking.
• Assist in maintaining records of job-specific material issues and receipts via ERP.
• Organize and label customer-supplied items, maintaining a log through ERP and material issue slips.
• Prepare GRNs and assist in preparing purchase requisitions for consumables when required.
• Maintain systematic records for store procedures verification.
• Prepare daily material and consumables based on the production plan and material requisition.
• Distribute daily PPE to the shop floor and maintain records.
• Record and store all customer samples properly.
• Ensure the warehouse is well-maintained, clean, and systematically arranged.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or a related specialization.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in storekeeping within the sheet metal and manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with storekeeping procedures and ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and systematic working style.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications related to inventory management.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
