Storekeeper - Zahr Freighters

At Zahr Freighters in Dubai, we are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage our warehouse operations efficiently. This role will involve maintaining inventory records, coordinating with logistics teams, and ensuring the smooth flow of stock. Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Inspect incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy, including monitoring by batch/expiry.
• Coordination & Logistics:
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt of shipments.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage conditions for different types of products.
• Ensure efficient storage of goods, optimizing space and maintaining an organized warehouse layout.
• Staff Supervision & Training:
• Allocate tasks and monitor staff performance to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Supervise and train storekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance.
• Use data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations within the FMCG industry.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Fluent in English and an Asian language.
• Strong computer skills, with good knowledge of MS Office.
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
