Job Brief:
We are hiring a Stores Executive for a manufacturing company based in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves managing warehouse operations, controlling inventory through MRP systems, and coordinating purchasing activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial warehouse environments, strong knowledge of material planning and reporting, and the ability to manage procurement-related inventory workflows efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels and purchase materials based on the company’s MRP-driven requirements.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and material availability.
- Conduct and oversee regular physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy between system records and actual stock.
- Maintain detailed reports and documentation on purchases, stock levels, pricing, and vendor performance.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and proper arrangement of materials.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, production, and logistics departments to align material flow with project timelines.
- Evaluate inventory usage trends and recommend reorder points and buffer stock strategies.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately logged in the ERP/MRP system.
- Implement and uphold inventory control processes and standard operating procedures.
- Enforce warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Job Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or material management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage inventory using MRP/ERP systems.
- Experience in purchase coordination, inventory audits, and pricing documentation (Mandate).
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
- Familiarity with shipment tracking and supplier communication.
- Excellent recordkeeping, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment or mechanical/electrical product categories is an advantage.
