WSP in Middle East is currently looking for a Strategic Risk Management Lead to join us in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
As the Strategic Risk Management Lead, you will be at the forefront of our new consulting service, specializing in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM). Your role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, and client engagement. You will drive the growth of our ERM practice, ensuring effective risk mitigation for our clients.
Your new role, what's involved?
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive ERM and ESRM strategy aligned with industry best practices.
Identify emerging risks, assess their impact, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership:
Build and lead a team of risk management professionals, including risk analysts and consultants.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Client Engagement:
Identify, establish and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their risk profiles and business objectives.
Provide strategic risk advisory services, including risk assessments, scenario planning, and risk treatment recommendations.
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM):
Implement ERM frameworks, policies, and procedures across client organizations.
Facilitate risk workshops, risk appetite discussions, and risk reporting.
Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM):
Integrate security risk management into the overall ERM framework.
Collaborate with security teams to identify security risks related to physical assets, information security, and personnel.
Business Development:
Identify and actively develop new business opportunities within the ERM and ESRM space.
Prepare proposals, participate in client presentations, and win consulting contracts.
Thought Leadership:
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and risk management innovations.
Contribute to thought leadership articles, whitepapers, and industry conferences

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Risk Professional (CRP).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on ERM and ESRM.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex risk concepts into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
