Job Purpose
The role of this position is to guide prospective students on advantages of enrolling at RIT Dubai, processing applications & acceptance criteria based on Ministry and RIT Dubai admissions criteria. Associated tasks include representing RIT Dubai in related events and coordinating with stakeholders to enhance student recruitment and admissions procedures to be more effective and efficient.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Provide information and guidance to prospective students on admission requirements set by the Ministry of Education & RIT Dubai admissions criteria.
Explain and advise prospective students the various academic programs offerings and opportunities available at RIT and RIT Dubai.
Work closely with applicants throughout the enrollment cycle to ensure their acceptance and enrollment is processed in a timely manner.
Evaluate applications based on understanding of the various academic curriculums and in line with Ministry & RIT Dubai requirements.
Provide support to new students until enrollment is completed and first term subjects’ registration is done in coordination with Academic Advising Department.
Conduct recruitment and outreach activities including undertaking presentations at schools, corporations and government entities. Represent RIT Dubai at college fairs, educational exhibitions, and other recruitment activities and programs.
Undertake ongoing strategic communication with prospective students and applicants, including telephone outreach, online chats, email and interviews, etc.
Participate in planning and implementing campus visit programs, including individual meetings and interviews, group presentations as well as recruitment and admission events.
Coordinate with the student recruitment team on successful initiatives that result in conversions.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited University in Marketing, International Business, Education or related fields.
Minimum of 2 years of working experience in similar role in the Higher Education sector in the UAE, other related experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of acceptance regulations and related conditions of all possible scenarios of the Ministry of Education for accredited universities.
English Language Fluency, fluency in at least one other language is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to details, creative, and strong problem solving skills are essential.
Advanced organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills
Ability to represent the institute in a professional manner
