Subcontract Engineer

Job Summary

The Subcontract Engineer is responsable for manage and coordinate subcontractors for our projects. This role ensure all contracted work is delivered safely, on time, and meets technical and quality standars focus on EPCI Offshore (Marine and Fleets)

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a single point of contact between all internal departments, customer and management.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals, technical documentation and work plans to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Perform cost, scenario analysis, and benchmarking of goods services to be procured.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, change order, progress reports and documentation.
• Serve as the primary liaision between project teams and subcontractors.
• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
• Complete negotiations and close deals with optimal terms.
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marine, Mechanical Engineer.
• EPCI Offshore Oil & Gas
• Minimum 10 years procurement experience, with a strong background in offshore projects.(Jackets, Sealine Installation etc).
  
  

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple contractors.
• Strong organizational and time managment.
• Offshore projects.
