Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to efficiently manage our supply chain processes for fitness equipment and sports nutrition products. This role ensures smooth operations from procurement to distribution, effectively managing costs, maintaining product quality, and guaranteeing timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of logistics, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain management within the fitness and nutrition industry.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting and Procurement:

• Analyze market trends for accurate demand forecasting and manage procurement processes to ensure timely product availability.
  
  
  

Logistics & Shipping:

• Oversee all shipments, including freight forwarding and customs clearance, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight forwarders, and couriers.
• Optimize routes, manage costs, and monitor transportation performance.
  
  
  

Warehouse Management:

• Manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for efficient inventory tracking and control.
• Supervise warehouse operations to ensure smooth storage and dispatch.
• Oversee cycle count management and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  
  
  

Outbound Logistics:

• Ensure timely customer delivery and manage export processes within GCC regions, including compliance with customs regulations and documentation.
  
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to align supply chain activities with business goals and support new product launches.
  
  
  

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Ensure all products meet quality standards and that warehouse operations comply with safety regulations.
• Manage statutory requirements with Dubai Municipality for food and supplements.
  
  
  

Cost Optimization and Management:

• Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or service levels, while tracking key logistics and supply chain metrics for cost-saving opportunities. Develop and manage budgets related to supply chain activities.
• Implement strategies to minimize logistics and supply chain costs, including demand forecasting, supplier negotiations, and transportation efficiency improvements.
  
  
  

Process Improvement:

• Continuously seek enhancements in supply chain efficiency, stay updated on industry trends, and adopt new technologies as needed.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; a masters degree or additional certification in logistics/supply chain management is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the fitness equipment or sports nutrition industry.
• Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, procurement, and distribution.
• Familiarity with export documentation for GCC regions and dealing with Dubai Municipality for food and supplement registration and clearance.
• Strong knowledge of logistics/WMS software (preferably SAGE 300) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of international logistics, including customs regulations, import and export documentation and freight forwarding.
