About Our Client
We are representing an exceptional opportunity with a leading investment office in Dubai that is looking for a Senior Vice President to join the management team and play a critical leadership role in the growth of the business function. The role will support senior management in the oversight of group level financial and portfolio reporting, portfolio performance analytics and risk controls across the private and public investment strategies. This role will drive process improvement, enhance data analytics and support cross function collaboration to ensure best performance framework. The role will manage an in-house team and be responsible for the relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role will require full relocation to Dubai.

What the job involves
- Lead the overall analysis and reporting of investment performance and risk across private and public portfolios
- Lead consolidated group financial reporting and continuous improvement of internal financial controls and procedures
- Standardised reporting methodologies across the group while ensuring best practice in performance analytics globally
- Incorporate capital market expectations into portfolio allocation and NAV growth scenario modelling
- Responsible for performance analytics across private and public investments in highlighting key analysis across risk exposures and investment trends
- Monitor exposure to management in market, liquidity, and concentration risks ensuring a proactive approach to internal risk mitigation
- Collaborate with data team and external vendors to develop and enhance dashboarding tools and data visualisation
- Oversight of the audits process and manage relationship with key service providers
- Lead financial planning and analysis for the group including budget reviews and forecasting
- Oversight of capital planning, optimising cash flow through robust modelling and procedures
- Lead the improvement of data integration from different business functions
- Support tax compliance for the group by providing required group financial information
- Lead and mentor the team in proactively driving a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with other business functions to drive a cohesive performance reporting strategy
- Lead initiatives that improve efficiency and drive strategic decision-making across the business
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a quantitative discipline
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong knowledge in both private and public markets operational processes is essential
- Strong proficiency in performance analytics and financial reporting within an investment management or financial services business
- Strong experience in leading and developing high performing teams across different business areas
- Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesise complex data into actionable insights
- Track record of improving efficiency, automation, and strategic reporting in investment performance management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with hands-on execution
- Additional qualification, MBA, or further degree is beneficial
