About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Director (Datacenter and Cloud) to lead our Systems team and drive the management, implementation, and optimization of IT systems across on-premises and cloud environments. This strategic role ensures alignment with enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and security policies while overseeing critical infrastructure, cloud transformation, and database environments.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Director (Datacenter and Cloud) to lead our Systems team and drive the management, implementation, and optimization of IT systems across on-premises and cloud environments. This strategic role ensures alignment with enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and security policies while overseeing critical infrastructure, cloud transformation, and database environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of System and Database Administrators, setting KPIs and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee design, implementation, and operations of virtualization and cloud infrastructure (Azure, VMware, SQL, Microsoft stack).
- Manage systems and database projects within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Optimize resource consumption and costs through automation and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and governance into business processes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (VMware, Microsoft, ITIL V4 certifications required).
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in Systems Administration (on-prem & cloud), with 7+ years managing systems projects.
- Skills:
- Expertise in Azure, VMware, SQL, Microsoft technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of security governance, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Desirable: MBA, ISO27001, familiarity with GDPR, PCI, and UAE regulations.
