About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Systems Senior Manager to join our IT Systems Team. This role is pivotal in managing, implementing, and monitoring on-premises IT systems and processes in alignment with our Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy, and Information Security Policy. You will lead the planning and development of VMware and Microsoft environments, oversee infrastructure projects, track financial consumption, and ensure compliance through audits and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management
• Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals.
• Manage hiring, training, performance reviews, and KPI monitoring.
• Oversee infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
• Operations
• Design, implement, and manage virtualization infrastructure.
• Administer and support Microsoft and VMware technologies.
• Maintain and monitor systems including servers, storage, AD, Exchange, O365, CDN, and file servers.
• Ensure disaster recovery plans are tested and maintained.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and manage threat exposure.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with IT and other departments to integrate secure designs.
• Manage audits and compliance with corporate security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on KPIs, incidents, and trends.
  

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• VMware and Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Administrator, VMware Certified Professional).
• ITIL certification.
• Minimum 7 years in Systems Administration and proven experience in on-prem solutions.
  
  

Desirable:

• MBA and Project Management certifications (Waterfall/Agile).
• ISO27001 certification.
• 5+ years managing systems projects.
  
  

Skills

• Expertise in on-prem services: compute, storage, networking, security, identity management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft and VMware environments.
• Proficiency in automation tools (PowerShell).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
