About The Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Intern who is passionate about rethinking hiring. Unlike traditional TA roles, this internship is not about filling positions. Instead, you'll be at the heart of designing and analyzing the job seeker journey from job circulars to application touch points. Your insights will directly shape the UpStar product experience, making hiring more transparent, skill-centric, and scalable through AI.

What You'll Do

  • Research & Map Candidate Journeys: Study how job seekers interact with job postings and application processes; document their experiences, frustrations, and drop-off points.
  • Design Applicant Journeys: Develop structured pathways that align with Skill-based scoring system, ensuring the candidate experience is intuitive and gamified.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate user insights into actionable product features.
  • Explore AI & Automation: Identify opportunities where AI can optimize the talent acquisition process, improving scalability and efficiency.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in HR, Business, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Excited to contribute to a mission-driven startup shaping the future of hiring.
