The Arbor School is seeking a highly motivated Secondary Teacher of Arabic & GCSE to join the growing Arabic and Islamic Studies department in the school.

Job Summary
The role is to teach Secondary students key aspects of Arabic curriculum and show excellent pedagogical knowledge and skills. You should have strong communication skills in English and be able to work with a range of students from those who need to be stretched and those who are beginners. The successful candidate will be proficient and experienced in teaching Arabic A & B with experience of teaching across GCSE/iGCSE and A Level or IB. You will form an integral component of the Arabic and Islamic team, with responsibilities across KS3, KS4 and eventually KS5 as the secondary school grows into a full A – Level programme.

Required Candidate Profile
- First Language Arabic Speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language with a teaching license obtained by MOE or equivalent.
- KHDA Approval to teach Arabic A in Secondary School.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Secondary Arabic A and GCSE/IGCSE in British schools.
- Experience teaching Arabic A and B in KS2 & KS3 is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English.
- A track record of outstanding GCSE and/or A Level examination result in Arabic Language is a plus.
- Experience of inquiry/ecological based learning is a plus
