City: Dubai
Contract type: Full time

Job Overview
Kent College Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Media Studies and English to join our thriving school.
Our School
Kent College Dubai (KCD) opened its doors in August 2016, and in a very short space of time has established itself as a hugely successful community-centred school that is inclusive and aspiring. We are rated Very Good by the KHDA and Outstanding by the BSO.
The school takes pupils from ages 3 months -18 years and is in the Nad al Sheba district of Dubai. We are proud members of the Aldar Education group and the BSME.
The Post
Due to unprecedented growth, Kent College Dubai is seeking an inspirational teacher to teach Media Studies to Years 12 and 13. The department offers AQA A Level, and we require someone who is familiar with the specification, key theorists, and has a proven track record of success. The ability to teach English up to KS4 would be a distinct advantage, (with the option to teach KS5 in the future) alongside KS3 Humanities (either History or Geography).
The Successful Candidate Will
We aim to attract and retain staff of the highest quality, primarily because the school is a fulfilling and enjoyable environment in which to work. We provide professional development opportunities to match the needs and aspirations of each individual member of staff, and to make sure that our pupils are taught by motivated teachers who are fully up to date with their teaching methods and approaches.
As well as this, the school offers its new teachers a competitive tax free salary that includes an accommodation allowance, medical insurance, annual travel allowance, schooling at KCD for two dependents and an end of service gratuity.
How To Apply
The closing date for this position is Monday September 8th at 8am Gulf Standard Time. Early applications are encouraged and we may interview on receipt of applications, such is the expected demand for this role. Start date for this position is as soon as possible, with the latest being January 2026.
Candidates wishing to apply should complete the Schrole Connect Form and upload it with a CV and covering letter addressed to Mr John Short Ring – Head of Senior School. If possible, please include a recent photograph.
Shortlisted candidates who are based in the UAE will be invited into school for interview and further assessments. This will include teaching a lesson. Overseas candidates may be expected to provide a video of them teaching.
