About The Role
As the Team Leader, General Cashier, you will be responsible for checking and supervising the activities of cashiers to promote efficiency, discipline, and productivity in finance cashiering operations. The Team Leader will ensure that cashiers are at their duty posts during open hours and must address customers with respect and politeness and must also work smartly to reduce long queues so that customers are not kept waiting for extended periods of time.
Within this role, you will also ensure all team members are aware of, and follow the operations manual, providing training as appropriate. You will also assist the Assistant Manager for employees to specific duties and take the responsibility of the Assistant Manager when they are away from the office.
Ideally, you will have a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, finance, or similar. You will also have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, within a 5* hotel or resort. You must have strong attention to detail and previous experience in cash handling procedures, along with strong organisational skills. A customer focused approach is essential to be successful in this role, along with excellent communication skills, being fluent in both written and spoken English.
