TEAM LEADER - WAREHOUSING

Job Description

• Lead end-to-end execution of warehouse operations tasks including inbound receipt, putaway, inventory management, order picking, packing, and outbound dispatch with strict adherence to SOPs and technical handling protocols.
• Direct and support the performance of VNA / Order Pickers and forklift operators, ensuring safe and accurate handling of energy sector components and assemblies.
• Oversee picking and packing operations with a focus on zero-defect dispatches, accuracy in part numbers, and traceability of serialized or high-value stock.
• Monitor and drive task execution through WMS (LFS) and SAP integration, ensuring data integrity, timely confirmations, and minimal system exceptions.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards rigorously in alignment with both DP World and energy client compliance requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Warehouse Coordinator / Admin to ensure proper documentation, shipment readiness, and compliance with material certification and labeling requirements.
• Provide on-the-floor training and guidance to team members on product handling, safety procedures, and system usage; facilitate cross-training to enhance operational flexibility.
• Support the Warehouse Operations Supervisor in implementing lean process improvements, 5S initiatives, and layout optimization for high-efficiency energy warehousing.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, equipment upkeep, and aisle discipline to ensure safe operations in high-density storage zones.
• Lead daily toolbox talks, report performance deviations or safety concerns, and escalate issues promptly while providing immediate solutions where feasible.
