Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Office Engineer (Infrastructure) based in Sharjah, U.A.E.

The Technical Office Engineer will be responsible for:

• Preparing and reviewing shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Managing and updating Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Coordinating with construction, civil, and electrical engineering teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Assisting in quantity surveying, project tracking, and documentation.
• Ensuring that all work aligns with industry standards and project timelines.

This position requires strong collaboration skills and attention to detail to support high-profile infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Proven 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Engineer cum Draftsman in infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, and civil works).
• Strong understanding of BOQ preparation and management and civil engineering principles.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering standards and quantity surveying tasks.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous U.A.E experience within the construction or infrastructure industry is an advantage.
