As a Technical Product Manager – Chapter Lead, you are empowered to lead, govern, and support the Product managers and Owners across the Emirates Group with their practices, ensuring a value-based approach throughout our business. We’re seeking a dynamic individual, experienced in the art of Product Management in enterprise scale organisations, with an innate ability to deliver outcomes. Working with a team of over 140 product people from over 30 countries will require you to be open minded, well organised, and a strong communicator who enjoys people leadership. What You’ll Do - Support the Manager Technical Product Management in driving the strategy for Product Management capability across Emirates Group IT - Drive the objectives, metrics, and frameworks to support our practices and ensure our targets are being achieved. - Continuously innovate and iterate as you deliver your roadmap of Products to the Community of Product Managers and Owners - Ensure effective collaboration across a diverse range of teams and stakeholders to balance the needs and priorities of the Product Chapter. - Work cross-functionally with engineering, delivery, architecture, and business portfolio leadership in assuring and improving our overall system of delivering - Plan, Build and Deliver world class learning and talent experiences for our people - Be a leader of our Product community, continuously focusing on collaboration and identifying opportunities of improvement and growth for our people - Lead in curating an environment and culture which brings out the best in our people and caters to their diverse range of needs
Qualifications & Experience: What you will bring: Information Technology. Other : 8+ Years Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) : Degree can be optional if strong experience in the following: - Degree In a relevant domain e.g. Operations Research, Marketing, Science, Information Systems, e- Commerce. - 3 to 5 years practical experience of working as a Technical Product Manager or Product Owner, with proven record of driving discernible ideation, change and delivery, at pace - Whilst not essential, some experience of working within a Agile environment, across multiple initiatives and circa 50+ teams Knowledge/skills: - Well-versed with the tools for the Technical Product Management aspects of software delivery. - Effectively builds and manages relationships with business stakeholders. - Strong communicator at peer, line and stakeholder levels. - Ability to lead by example using evidence, information and data to empower people, is comfortable with change and ambiguity. - Demonstrate technical or domain expertise, utilising a depth and breadth of knowledge and practical experience within the specific domains or technical areas. - Stays up to date with regulatory and other changes in the technical area, and understands how they apply to the Emirates group (Data Vault, Star Schema, etc.). - Experience with associated physical data models is a strong plus. - Leadership Role : YES
