Our client is one of the leading names, providing services to the Oil & Gas domain. Established in 2007, and having a global presence across the UAE, Egypt, Oman, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, Switzerland and USA, the group has diversified their services across various sectors such as Infrastructure, Renewable Energy and Telecommunications.

They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Sales Manager for their Engineered Solutions company, with a strong background in Industrial Filtration Products to lead their technical sales and marketing efforts within the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and Aviation sectors across the UAE and Oman.

The ideal candidate would have a proven track record of selling and marketing technical products in the region, be commercially and technically sound, and possess the ability to manage both end-user and EPC/PMC relationships independently.

The role is based in Abu Dhabi

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector, including major operators in the GCC.
    • Build and maintain strong relationship with key EPC contractors in the GCC.
    • Engage with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams such as those from the client filters, etc., ensuring full understanding of their technical and commercial requirements.
  • Sales & Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas and trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Handle the territory independently, driving sales for both end users and EPC/PMC contractors.
  • Technical Presentations & Reporting:
    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, demonstrating the value and application of the company's industrial filtration products.
    • Create and maintain MIS reports and other sales and marketing documentation, tracking performance and providing insights to senior management.
  • Contract Negotiations:
    • Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms that align with the company's objectives.
    • Handle pricing, terms of payment, and other contractual obligations effectively to secure deals.
  • Payment Follow-Up & Collections:
    • Monitor and ensure timely follow-up on payments and collections from clients, resolving any issues to ensure smooth financial transactions.
  • Self-Motivated & Proactive:
    • Act as a self-starter, identifying new opportunities and proactively managing challenges.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the market, products, and client needs to stay ahead of the competition.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Experience:
    • 5 to 10 years of experience in the sales and marketing of industrial filtration products to the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and Aviation sectors.
    • Direct experience dealing with O&M personnel of major end-users in the GCC region.
  • Skills:
    • Technical proficiency in filtration products and solutions.
    • Commercially sound understanding of pricing, contracts, and market dynamics.
    • Proficiency in technical presentations and MIS reporting.
    • Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract negotiations.
    • Computer-savvy, with expertise in MS Office and CRM tools.

  • Location Preference: Candidates already based in UAE or Oman will be given preference.

  • Liquid Liquid Coalescers / Phase Separators

  • Magnetic Filters
  • Self Cleaning Filters
  • Carbon filters (fixed bed/canister type)
  • Aviation Turbine Fuel Filtration including Basket Filters, Micro Filters, Filter Water Separators, Clay Filters etc
  • Filtration Skids
  • Quick Opening Closure Assemblies
  • Replacement Filter Elements
  • ASME U & U2 (Class 1 & 2) code stamped filter vessels, pressure vessels
