Make your mark as a software engineer at Boskalis. In this role, your focus is on developing solid software for systems that support the Boskalis fleet and the activities of our Dredging & Inland Infra, Offshore Energy and Salvage business units.

You play a crucial role in improving the efficiency and capabilities of the Boskalis fleet. You create software to help the operator visualize their work and aid in performing it correctly and help analyse the quality of work.

Your Responsibilities As a Technical Software Developer

• Assessment & analysis of the required functionalities and designing, building, testing and documenting the software.
• After the software solution is ready for use, you’re responsible for commissioning, testing and verifying the systems operation, which is sometimes done on- site.
• Although our software & systems are mostly low maintenance, our team needs to provide support and assist our internal customers with questions or problems after implementation.
• Work together with a diverse selection of users to develop the best user interfaces.
• Developing web-based applications for data visualization and processing Which can be used on any device.
• Develop a connection between the current legacy system and the new web interface
  
  

Your qualities

You can make your mark as software engineer if you have:

• At least 3 years’ experience with building production applications with React, Next.js and React Native.
• Eager to learn, discuss and share knowledge with the rest of the team.
• Nice to have knowledge on Terraform, Docker and other tools used in DevOps.
• You like to design and create great UI.
• Knowledge of C++, web sockets and Restfull API is an advantage.
