About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join Engineering team in Jumeirah Mina Al Salam. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and servicing of HVAC equipment, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, VRF/VRV systems, split units, and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems such as walk-in freezers, cold rooms, ice machines, and commercial kitchen chillers.
• Monitor BMS systems to ensure HVAC plant parameters remain within operational standards and perform refrigerant handling in compliance with environmental guidelines.
• Conduct regular inspections of HVAC and refrigeration assets to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in implementing energy-saving initiatives related to HVAC systems and respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and operations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to HACCP, Dubai Municipality standards, and Jumeirah Group’s safety protocols while maintaining tools and equipment in top condition.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Diploma or technical certification in HVAC & Refrigeration.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a hotel or facility management environment.
• Strong understanding of HVAC controls, refrigeration cycles, mechanical systems, and basic BMS operations.
• Familiar with Dubai Municipality regulations and HACCP guidelines.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and service manuals, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
